Learning and Skills Council – LinkLine/LinkLocal
FMS were instrumental in the development of an identity and marketing communications strategy for LinkLine, an Information, Advice & Guidance Help Line in South London, designed to direct and sign-post callers on issues relating to training, careers and courses.
The initial concept was designed to appeal to C2DE adults aged 19 years plus, who were likely to be socially/economically/ financially disadvantaged. A simple, direct style of communication with a clear call to action, encouraged the target audience to pick up the phone and use LinkLine to seek information, advice, and guidance on training, careers, and courses.
The LinkLine service was so successful that the LSC wanted to extend it by developing a complementary High Street service.The core requirements were similar to those identified for the Help Line, with the call to action being focussed on encouraging a personal visit to one of the outlets, rather than using the telephone.
The result was an enduring brand that over the years has helped thousands of 19 plus adults get where they want to be.
Any Occasion – Brand Identity
Any Occasion, a sophisticated fashion boutique offering a personal shopping experience for female AB adult shoppers, chose Tunbridge Wells to launch their first store.
Our brief was to deliver a brand identity that would appeal to the target audience, achieve ‘stand out' and work across the media mix. It would also need to integrate with the black/white/silver colourways and the damask pattern that were part of the interior design of the store. Style, exclusivity, and femininity were the watchwords.
The brand name was abbreviated to AO, framed in a double border to add an air of prestige, and combined with more ornate fonts to create a stylish, ‘feminine', Any Occasion logo.This was used as the basis for design of the shopfront, internal communications and marketing communications.
Since its launch, Any Occasion has quickly established itself as a well known ‘boutique', with a sales turnover that many competitors would be highly envious of.
